Jersey Shore and Jenkinson's Boardwalk

After spending 2 days at the Summer's house both families headed to Jersey Shore for some "Snookie Sun!" The kids loved the beach and liked playing in real sand, not Michigan dirt.

Claire preparing for her role as Princess Ariel. Those are some rockin' shells.

The prego Mom's and the girls played on the beach and watched the lifeguards workout in between shifts. What more is life all about?

This is Brooklyn trying to get sand out of her swimsuit...her least favorite part of the trip.

The waves were pretty big and after a couple of "wipe outs"  Landon would run for his life every time they came close.

We hit the boardwalk for some fun rides and really good food!

The cutest bums on the whole beach!!!

A great trip with our best friends!!! We couldn't ask for a better end to our summer!

New York Trip-Summers House

Our big summer trip this year was to New York to visit the Summer's Family and then to New Jersey to get our beach on! Here are some pictures of the days spent at the Summer's.

The kids did some frog catching

Here is Leaper Camoflauge Froglegs

Dress-up time for the 2 princesses

And some mud time too!

We also hit up the Hoe Bowl (gotta love the name) and ate Megan's wonderful cooking. We sure wish we lived closer! MAYBE SOMEDAY :)

The Woodward Dream Cruise event is a classic car event held annually on the third Saturday of August in Metropolitan Detroit, along Woodward Avenue. The WDC Event spans much of the avenue, from Pontiac through Ferndale in Oakland County, Michigan, all the way to the State Fair Grounds inside the Detroit city limits, just south of 8 Mile Road. "Woodward Dream Cruise" is a registered trademark of Woodward Dream Cruise, Inc. An estimated one million spectators attended the 2009 Woodward Dream Cruise

Landon played T-Ball this summer with the Shelby Township Pirates. He enjoyed hitting the ball and catching the grounders that came his way.

What made it even more fun was playing on the same team as his buddy Jacob.

He was so proud of his trophy. He said "Mom, this is my first trophy! And I am going to get a lot more!"
