Goodbye baby curls

Claire has been asking me every day for about 2 weeks if she can get her hair cut short like Brookie's. After many NO's, how could I cut off those long beautiful curls? I finally relented and took both girls in for a cute summer cut.

 Claire was so good, she didn't even move a muscle. 

 Not too much off but just enough to have her not cry when I brush her hair.

 What a cutie!

Special Delivery

We are so excited to announce that our family of 5 will soon be 6! My due date is January 9th, but since I will be having a c-section our little baby will be gracing us with it's presence just after Christmas...

 This year for Brooklyn's birthday we did a low key party with friends since we were going to be doing a lot of celebrating with her Baptism. It was nice to keep it simple and focus on what was important this year.

Trip to the nursery

Landon's preschool class took a field trip to a local nursery. They learned about how they take care of the plants and the many different kind of plants they have there.

 Landon's favorite was the robot watering arms and the plant that smelled like chocolate.

 They also got to plant their very own flower and take it home.

 I am sure going to miss this boy when he is in kindergarten all day in the fall.
