Hell's Bells

When the Burnham family came out for Brooklyn's Baptism we headed to Hell, Michigan. It is a little town by where Brianne was serving her mission. Not a big place but funny things to see and Great Food!

So now we can all say we have been to "Hell" and Back!!!

Brooklyn's Baptism

Brooklyn had so many friends and family there at her baptism to support her and show her love. Her friend Paige and her Mom and sister and her School teacher were there to support her. Not to mention all the family that flew in town and the wonderful ward family we have here in Michigan.
Brooklyn was Baptized the same day as Henry Wilson a boy in her
primary class.

Brooklyn's Grandma Tolboe, "Jammy" gave a talk on Baptism and her Uncle Ryan Burnham gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. Also, Aunt Sara led the music and her other Aunt, Brianne sang a beautiful song "If the Savior Stood Beside Me." I cried through the whole thing.

What a perfect day! I am so proud of Brooklyn and all the good decisions she makes every day. Looking at her today in her beautiful white dress, makes me so thankful to be a Mom and to know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I can't wait for the next white dress she will be wearing. I love you so much Brooklyn Rose.

Frankenmuth part-2

After trying to cool off while eating some good food we headed to face the heat...it was 100 degrees with the heat index at about 115!!! YUCK
The kids were so good and even a prego Mom was not too cranky.

There was every kind of cheese here at the Cheese Haus, even Chocolate Cheese. It was actually not bad.

Next we tried to find the nearest air conditioned store and stopped by the Fudge House. We watched as they made some fudge and then got to taste some!

 Finger lick'n good

Jaami's Jam and Jelly Works (not spelled the same as our Jammie but we loved it)

Last we headed to the worlds largest Christmas store. The sights, sounds, and spirit of CHRISTmas completely surround you at this amazing store, which is the size of
one and a half football fields. Bronner’s is overflowing with 50,000 trims and gifts.

A great way to spend our 4th of July!!!

Frankenmuth Part 1

Our trip to Frankenmuth started with the Junction Valley Railroad just out of Frankenmuth. It is the home of the worlds largest quarter sized train.  Opened in 1941 and still fully functional.

The train took us to a little park and picnic area, where the kids (even the big kids, Christian and Mark) rode cars and played.

Mark almost crashed coming down this hill!

As you can see from this picture the train was really long but not very tall. Hence the 1/4 size.

Claire and Landon having fun on the see-saw. This was Claire's first time on a see-saw!

Next we headed just 5 minutes to the cute little Bavarian town of Frankenmuth, MI
