Half Moon Bay and San Fransico

For our last hurrah with Dad we decided to spend the weekend in Half Moon Bay. On Saturday (my Birthday) we went to San Francisco and walked around Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. The kids loved seeing the ocean, but most of all loved the sea lions and sea gulls!
The sea lions were very stinky (as you can see from Brooklyn's face)
Half Moon Bay is a cute little town about 25 minutes from San Francisco. There are tons of beaches right there and the view was amazing! The weather was great and we all had a wonderful time. Our hotel was right by the beach in Half Moon Bay and after our trip we might just quit school and move there to be beach bums...

Actually while walking down Main Street in Half Moon Bay we came across Christian's future office...

While in Half Moon Bay Landon found a girlfriend! She happened to be waiting for him right outside a little shop on main street. Or maybe he just thought she looked a lot like his Mom!

(YEAH RIGHT)

Every one's favorite part of the trip was playing at the beach! The kids played for hours and the only way we could get them to go back to the hotel was to promise to come back in the morning.

Brooklyn spent the whole time collecting sea shells. Which are washed and in the backyard on display. As for Landon it took him a while to get used to the water. He was a little afraid of the waves and didn't like the fact that the water kept coming after him.

We would walk with him up to the water and as soon as a wave came in he would run away and yell "the water is coming, the water is coming!"

After a while Landon was brave enough to go in the water, and then we couldn't get him out of it. Dad was definitely a big kid. He chased the kids with seaweed and had fun burying Brooklyn in the sand.

It was a great trip and we plan on taking another one to celebrate Dad's return in February.

A day at the beach

I have been pretty busy with my new calling in church and helping get Christian ready for his long trip to Pennsylvania. So I haven't had time to post anything about our trip to Half Moon Bay, but here is a little sneak peak...

30 weeks and counting

30 Weeks

Here is a picture of my BIG prego belly at 30 weeks. For my last two pregnancies it seems like after 30 weeks, I start to feel BIG, and the swelling starts. So I thought I would hurry and take a picture before my face gets too pregnant looking.
Things have been going well with this pregnancy. The baby is moving all the time and Brooklyn loves to feel her kick. Landon is just starting to figure out that there is something in my belly, but we will see how he does when he sees the baby?

At this point we don't know when the Doctor is going to schedule me for my c-section, but we want it to be after September 26th, because then Christian can be here for sure. But, I have a feeling that the baby will come the week before. Pregnant women never wish to be pregnant longer than planned, but I guess we will see what happens. As long as I deliver a healthy baby, I can deal with the other things that might not go as planned.

I have finished the baby blanket so now I think I better decide what we are going to name this baby Girl! We have thought of a couple of names but I can't really decide. Every name I think I like is either really popular or Christian doesn't like, so I think we are going to do a poll and have you all help us decide. Wish me luck!

Children's Museum

This past weekend Brooklyn and Landon's cousin's came to visit and they had a wonderful time! We took a trip to the Children's Museum of Stockton, and there the kids could make believe and run the show.

In the Pool!

We have been spending all our time in the pool these past few weeks and love every minute of it! On the weekends when we see Dad we try to fill it with as much fun as possible.
The kids have perfected their "Cannon-Ball" and show it off whenever they can. Landon's is the funniest, especially when he does a face plant. Thanks to some excellent swim lessons from Uncle Ryan, the kids have NO FEAR and Brooklyn is swimming great! She can even dive for toys at the bottom of the pool.

Don't worry, we finally got Landon some BOY floaties, after seeimg these pictures.
Here is a video of Landon doing his "Candy Ball" as he calls it.
