Friday and Saturday FUN!!!

FRIDAY: while the Dad's were at work Megan and I took the kids to the YMCA for their family night! It was Oey Goey Night and the kids had a blast!

Landon with the silly puddy!!! He loved it, and surprised he didn't eat it.

I love my little Brookie!!!

SATURDAY: the Grover's were nice enough to switch date night to Saturday for us so we could go to a Football game with the CPMS class. I know what you are saying, football in April??? Well it was an indoor arena football game, the Iowa Barnstormers. It was a lot of fun, and we might come again and take the kids.

Happy Birthday Landon

One year ago little Landon Christian Tolboe blessed our lives on April 25, 2007

He weighed 7lbs 8oz and 19 1/2 inches long.
Landon is all Boy and loves life! He is such a good boy and it seems like yesterday that we brought him home.Ever since Landon has been walking he gets into so much and gets a new bruise every day, but that is the life of a boy!

Landon got a big inflatable bouncy house with balls from Mom, Dad and Brookie. An outfit and cool picture book, and farm book from Jammy and Papa Tolboe, and a McQueen car and a Tractor from the Summers!
Landon says thank you to everyone...xoxo

The Sweet Spirit of a Child

So the other night we were watching a movie, "Martian Child." At the end it is pretty emotional and I was crying of course (being a woman and a mom) The next thing I noticed Brooklyn turned to me and was crying pretty hard with huge tears rolling down her face. As I took her into my arms I asked her why she was crying? It took her a minute to stop crying and when she did she said and I quote: "Mom, you know when at church you're so happy that you cry?"
"Yeah", I said
"Well I am crying because I am happy."

And then I started to cry because I was "so happy." I love my children, and I know that the spirit can be felt especially through a little child of our Heavenly Father.

Christian's Recognition and Rite of Passage

The Rite of Passage is a ceremony to congratulate the second year students who are transitioning from the classroom to the clinic! My sexy Doctor husband looked so good in his "White Coat". I am so proud of him and all his hard work. It seems like he has been waiting forever for this point in his life...even though we still have a while to go. He will start working in the clinic in June and will start to see patients. YIKES!!!

Dr. Yoho is the Dean of the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery (CPMS). With Dr. Yoho as dean DMU has become the #1 college of Podiatry. GO DMU!!!

Christian receiving his pin.

Well it is official the next step in Podiatric Medical School has come!!! YEAH!!!

Notice here Christian is being a very distinguished and a well mannered future Doctor... NOT!!!
