There are quite a few beaches very close to us here in Michigan. The first one we went to has a "splash zone", that is on Lake St. Claire. And the other one we went to is on Stony Creek Lake, which is a run of from Lake Huron.
There isn't a lot of beach front, but the water is shallow, and warm!
While we were watching Brooklyn and Landon play in the sand, Claire was chasing some ducks that wanted to eat our food.

Of course Claire tried to eat the sand, but she loved splashing in the water.

I LOVE Claire's leg rolls! She is too cute. The beach looks great, and there is nothing better than digging in the sand. Hey I need your new address - oh, and Yes Shawn is on call for THanksgiving, and pretty much every holiday for the next year!) We'll be here . . . let's get together yeah, yeah, yeah...
