Oh and let me not forget to mention that we did see a bear while walking to our car in the middle of the night. YIKES!!!
My stomach stopped contracting sometime Saturday, but I was so exhausted from our little adventure. Sunday was an OK day, but I had to go home after Sunday School because the contractions started up again.
Monday morning at 3 am the contractions were getting worse, so we headed to the hospital after Brooklyn was off at school and Landon was taken care of by my wonderful Mother-in-Law. They gave me a Demerol shot for the pain and to try to relax my muscles from the contracting. It worked for about 24 hours but they were back and in full force Tuesday night. So back to the hospital we went and they gave me some Terbutaline; a medication that relaxes the smooth muscles and stops contractions.
They had to give me two shots of this stuff, and then it finally worked and I haven't had any contractions since. Cross your fingers...
This little girl is very busy and wants to come out but we wont let her. I am measuring pretty small still so they definitely want to keep her in at least another week.
So, I am totally BORED!!! Laying down is so hard for me, I am going crazy. I have had a lot of help from my Mom and my Mother-in-law, so that has made life so much easier. Christian flys out on the 19th for the C-section that is scheduled on the 22nd, but I don't know if this little girl (with no name) will wait for her Daddy. So, in the meantime I will be doing a lot of movie watching and laying around. Wish me luck!!!

You look adorable pregnant! I hope this little girl can wait for her daddy. I work Labor and Delivery now and so I know just how important an extra week can be for baby to stay inside. I'll be praying for ya! Sorry about bedrest. I did that with Peyton and it SUCKED! I can't imagine trying to do it with two other kids.
Oh P.S.-
I heard you know the Pences. They are long time friends of my family's and they were just here visiting and had told me they found my blog through yours. It is so funny how small the world is through the church.
I miss you babe.
Hey you! Hope that you keep that little girlie in there a little longer. Wish you were here, we could lay around and let the kids run wild! Miss you guys!
What a scary thing to have to go through. Hopefully she stays in there! You look amazing for 37 weeks. Enjoy the time on the bed. You'll be up doing everything before you know it. Good Luck, I hope everything goes well.
OH Jenni! You poor thing if its not gallstones, its early contractions! Yuck! Well take advantage of your time to kick back and relax. We'll keep praying that baby girl will wait, although I can't wait to see her!
You looks so great Jenni! I would have been a wreck if I would have been in your situation stranded on a mountain, scary! Hopefully the rest will help slow this baby girl from coming! Good luck in the weeks to come!
GOOD LUCK! I couldn't stand to lay around during my pregnancies. I hope it all works out for you!
Oh man that doesn't sound fun. I hope you're doing better and everything is going well. You look beautiful! Can't wait to see beautiful baby girl!
